- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
- Add in the cold, cubed butter and mix until it resembles fine crumbs.
- Pour in the milk and stir until just combined.
- Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead gently for about 30 seconds.
- Roll out the dough to 1-inch thickness and cut out biscuits using a round cutter.
- Place the biscuits on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, whisk together the cocoa powder, sugar, flour, and milk.
- Cook and stir until the mixture thickens and begins to bubble.
- Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
- Once the biscuits are done, place them on a plate and generously pour the warm chocolate gravy over each biscuit.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
